Pumpelly House B&B

Just one mile from Exit 64 off Rt.17/I86, Pumpelly House B&B is a unique setting in the Southern Tier, snuggled in the historic residential district of Owego, NY, just a short walk from the historic shopping and dining district, with dozens of boutique shops and eateries. The house has four en suite executive style guest rooms.  Breakfast is available.  Guests have access to a comfortable living room with working fireplace, ornate gold leaf medallion ceiling, and large front porch. 

Situated on three acres with magnificent trees and lawns sloping to the Susquehanna River, the Georgian style house was built in 1902 by architect Claude Bragdon for Gurdon Pumpelly. Gurdon Pumpelly raised tobacco and had a cigar factory in Owego.

The Pumpelly House Estate also features the Carriage House, a wedding and event venue that seats 150 people and overlooks the lawn and the Susquehanna River. It features a full bar, onsite catering, outdoor space for weddings, riverside deck, wheelchair accessibility, and air conditioning.
