Pumpelly House Estate

Pumpelly House Estate is a unique setting in the Southern Tier, snuggled in the historic residential district of Owego, NY. The three-acre property with magnificent trees and lawns sloping to the Susquehanna River is perfect for an outdoor wedding and photographs. The event and wedding venue is a two-story, historic Carriage House, It was built in 1905 for the first owner, Gurdon Pumpelly’s, prized horses and automobile and renovated and restored by the current owners. The 5000 sq. ft interior has a seating capacity up to 150 people. A full bar and onsite catering are available for private events. A 1600 sq. ft riverside deck provides space for entertaining and enjoying the river view and the hills beyond. The Carraige House is handicap accessible and has heat and air conditioning. The Pumpelly House Estate offers planning services and complete packages to customize your event from décor to dinner.
