The Farmhouse Brewery

The Farmhouse Brewery

New York State Farm Brewery – Locally Sourced Ingredients
Local grains. Local hops. Local fresh ingredients.
Friendly, flavorful and fun. Dog friendly. Kid friendly.
Farmhouse brewery in Owego is one of the Finger Lakes region’s premier farm breweries. It began when Natalie and Marty Mattrazzo started growing their own barley and opened the first licensed malthouse in New York State since prohibition, Farmhouse Malthouse. They opened the Farmhouse Brewery Tap Room in Owego in 2014. The Tap Room serves their own fresh beer, cider and soda along with other New York State craft brews. The demand for their products has grown and they now source their barley from qualified small grains farmers from all over the state. Only the highest quality grain makes its way to the malthouse, where they painstakingly malt each batch of barley using a time-tested artisanal process. Master Brewer Marty uses seasonal, locally sourced ingredients to create distinctive flavors in beers like “Oh My Gourd” and “Beet Saison.” The Farmhouse Tap Room offers a fun, friendly and farm-themed atmosphere that welcomes children and dogs along with craft beer enthusiasts.
