Owego Free Academy (OFA) student Alice Dang won the OFA Jewelry Challenge, a collaboration between students and Master Bench Jeweler at Van Horn Jewelers in Owego, Michael Husted. Students worked with their art teacher, Susan Camin, to create design concepts for a piece of jewelry. Dang’s winning design was chosen by Husted from the many student submissions. He then used a 3D printer to make a model from which he created the pendant, which he presented to Dang at an event on August 29, 2020.
