The Rebecca Weitsman Memorial Dog Park opened in 2015 in Hickories Park in Owego. A gift from local businessman, Adam Weitsman, this off-leash, clean, state-of-the-art dog park features an agility course, separate runs for small and large dogs, shady areas and water stations. The park is maintained by Owego Dog Owners Group (ODGO), a local organization that is dedicated to educating the community on responsible dog ownership and facilitating training to encourage the best behavior in dogs.
