Newark Valley Apple Festival

Celebrate the Newark Valley Apple Festival at the Bement-Billings Farmstead Museum. Enjoy interpretive tours of the main house, artisan demonstrations of colonial handcrafts, entertainment, crafts for children, vendors, an antique apple press, local farm products, great food and more!

The 38th annual Newark Valley Apple Festival will honor the centennial with a Suffrage Parade on both days, Suffrage-themed activities. Honored guests Susan B. Anthony and Elizabeth Cady Stanton will be in attendance to enjoy the festivities and mingle with guests. At 3 p.m. each day, a Suffrage Rally that took place in Owego in 1915 will be reenacted.

The festival will also educate guests on life in Colonial America on the grounds of the Bement-Billings Farmhouse Museum, a renovated, authentic farmstead with outbuildings. Interpretive tours of the main house will be given and demonstrations of daily activities of Colonial farm life will be shown throughout the festival. Explore culture and tradition with great food, music, dance, crafts, tours of the historic home, and costumed reenactments.
